As a company, Suomen Asiakastieto Oy’s history reaches back to the beginning of the 20th century. Asiakastieto was at the forefront of digitizing the Finnish credit information industry when in 1995 it launched its credit scoring services. The credit scores gained more reliability, when an amendment of the Companies Act 1999 obligated all limited companies to disclose their financial statements to the authorities.
